Cote d’Ivoire haven’t had a great run in CHAN matches but they have a better record at this competition, compared to Algeria. They once finished in third place, but coming into this game they have managed just three wins in 10 CHAN matches, while they have failed to score in six of the last eight games in the competition.

Algeria have the advantage of playing at home and will want to make full use of it. So far, it has worked well for them and they are among the best defensive sides in this competition. They haven’t scored more than a goal so far but they’ve done just enough to bag maximum points.
