Borussia Dortmund will be making another trip to Spain, this time to face Barcelona. The two will square off in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final this Wednesday. the winner on aggregate will advance to meet Bayern Munich or Inter Milan. Read on for our prediction of the match.

After winning the Super Cup, Barcelona are racing towards the La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League titles. So far the Spanish giants have been superb on all those fronts. In Europe, they haven't lost since that matchday one loss in Monaco.

While things seem tough against Spanish sides, Dortmund would rather not carry their Bundesliga form here. They are struggling domestically and are in eighth place in the league.

When in Europe though, BVB come alive. Dortmund are unbeaten in the last five UCL matches, winning three. They won each of their last two away matches, the most recent a 2-1 victory at in Lille.

Borussia Dortmund are coming into this game as underdogs, despite their improved form in the Champions League. They haven't had a great run against Spanish sides in recent matches and have already lost to Barcelona this season.

In their three matches against Barcelona, Dortmund are winless though in the last two they managed to score. Barcelona haven't been as good defensively as they’ve been in attack and may fail to keep a clean sheet here.
