Championship leaders Fulham host fourth placed Blackburn Rovers. Fulham lead the table by nine points from Bournemouth, who have two games in hand. Only the top two gain automatic promotion and Fulham are 11 points clear of third placed Huddersfield Town and with two games in hand. A third successive promotion from the Championship looks almost inevitable now. Their worry is that the same might apply to a third successive relegation from the Premier League. The Cottagers have only lost one of their last ten league games, winning eight of them. That sole loss was at home to Huddersfield but they bounced back with a 2-1 home win over Peterborough.
Blackburn won't need too much reminding about the reverse fixture. They lost that 7-0 at home in early November, so will hope for a better result at Craven Cottage. Rovers are fourth and four points behind second placed Bournemouth but have played three games more. Battling away and securing a play-off place is their main target now. Their last league game saw them get a big 1-0 home win over third placed QPR. That was a much needed victory as they had only earned two points from their last five league games. Whereas Blackburn have won seven of their last nine at home, it's nowhere near as good as that on the road. Blackburn have two points from their last five away league games and not scored in any of them. Back Fulham to get the home win in this game and a side bet on a win to nil.
