Third placed Inter need to get back into winning ways after one victory in their last five Serie A games. They host eighth placed Fiorentina who are battling to get into the Europa Conference League. Inter are unbeaten in their last five league and cup games but three of those have been drawn. They begin the weekend four points behind leaders Milan but do have a game in hand on the leaders. They won their last home league match 5-0 against bottom-of-the-table Salernitana with Latauro Martinez scoring a hat-trick. That was a much needed home win after successive losses to Milan and Sassuolo plus Liverpool in the Champions League. Last week saw them draw 1-1 at Torino, needing a late goal to get the point. They haven't lost a home league game to Fiorentina since 2015.
The away side are two points off the final Europa Conference League qualifying position (sixth) but do have a game in hand on Roma. Only one of their last three league games has been won. That came in their most recent match as a 70th minute goal got them a 1-0 home victory over Bologna. Away form is a problem for Fiorentina with only one win in the last five (at Spezia) and six of the last ten in Serie A lost. Go for Inter to get the win here.
