Lazio v Atalanta Betting Tips [11 February 2023]

Atalanta come to this game off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Sassuolo that ended a five-game unbeaten run in the league. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men saw Joakim Maehle and Luis Muriel receive straight red cards in the match. It was Muriel’s second dismissal after he was also sent off in the first-leg meeting with Lazio. Like Lazio, Atalanta have won 11 matches and have drawn less (5) but have lost more (5). With 38 points, they are tied with AC Milan and will be keen to shake them off with a win that could send them into third if other results (Roma vs Lecce) go in their favour. Atalanta have scored two more goals than Lazio at 39 but have conceded seven more, at 24. They will be keen to have Ademola Lookman, the league’s second-top scorer with 12 goals, rediscover his scoring touch after going the last two matches (all competitions) without a goal.

This will be a tough match for both teams as they have both dropped points in recent outings and will be keen to put a halt to that. Lazio come into the game at an advantage both in the standings and in recent meetings and they will be happy to have it remain as is if they can’t master a win over Atalanta.
