Liverpool v Fulham Betting Tips [14 December 2024]

Liverpool will return to Premier League action with a home match against Fulham this Saturday. The Reds take on the Cottagers looking to extend their leadership of the standings to seven points. Read below for our prediction of this match.

Last week, Liverpool were supposed to take on Everton in the Merseyside Derby but that was postponed. They then embarked on their Champions League away game at Girona, winning 1-0.

As they resume league action, Arne Slot’s men will want to improve on their 3-3 draw with Newcastle United. They are on an 18-match undefeated streak, and have only drawn twice in that period.

Fulham aren’t doing as good as Liverpool but are on a purple patch of their own. In their last three matches they avoided defeat, beating Brighton 3-1 in the process.

They held their own well against Arsenal last time and will be keen on slashing points off another title chasing team. Having lost just once in their last seven league matches, Fulham will go into this game feeling confident.

Their form against Liverpool, however, isn’t really encouraging, having won none of their last six meetings. In their last eight away matches though, Fulham managed to score, and this should concern Liverpool.

Liverpool are the bookies’ favorites to prevail here, and rightly so. All is written in the Reds’ favor coming into this game. They are playing at home and had a break last week with the postponement of their last league game.  

With an 18-match unbeaten run, we expect Liverpool to add to it. They will, however, have to be alert on Fulham’s attacking abilities. Our prediction for Liverpool v Fulham is for Liverpool to win and both teams to score.
