Fourth placed Norwich City host Leicester City who are second in the Championship. A win for the home side will see them go ahead of their opponents. Norwich are only two points behind Leicester and three adrift of leaders Preston after the weekend fixtures. Saturday saw them return to winning ways with a 1-0 home win over Stoke City. That was a needed victory after surprisingly losing at Rotherham in their previous fixture. That away loss remains their only loss in six league games this season, winning four of them. At Carrow Road, City have won all three of their home league matches, something only Preston have equalled this season. Wins have come against Hull City, Millwall and Stoke City. Both teams scored in the first two of those victories.
Leicester City are going well as they bid to make an immediate return to the Premier League. They have won five of their six league matches, the other being a 1-0 home loss to Hull City. Last Friday saw them in dominant form as they won 4-1 at Southampton to continue their 100 per cent away league record. Before that win at St Mary's they had beaten Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United. Their last two matches on the road have both seen the two teams get on the scoresheet. The both teams to score stat has come up in four of their six league fixtures this season. This should be an open match and we believe that both Norwich and Leicester will score.
