French side Lens will travel to Sevilla hoping to kickstart their season in this Group B UEFA Champions League game. Both sides have actually struggled at the start of 2023/24 and will be seeking a start to a stable run. Coming into this game they have also dropped in attack, failing to score in the last two matches. Their most recent 1-0 home loss to Metz came after a 3-0 defeat by Monaco. In five matches, they haven't kept a clean sheet, and Franck Haise should be a worried man. Three times in just five matches, Les Sang et Or have conceded three goals. In this run of form they will struggle in Spain, especially seeing that those goals were all conceded away.

Lens lost a number of key players from last season’s team and seem to be suffering as a consequence. They go into this game seeking a first win of the season.
