The quarterfinals of the FA Cup sees Southampton square off against Manchester City in what should be an entertaining match in football’s oldest national competition. While manager Pep Guardiola boasts one of the world’s most talented attacking sides, there have been moments this season where the Citizens have experienced brief scoring droughts. City have been held scoreless in two straight matches three separate times this season, but never have they gone three straight without finding the net. Southampton at St. Mary’s are certainly not an easy task but the visitors should have enough firepower to ultimately progres to the semi finals. Southampton have been in a rich vein of scoring form and should fancy themselves to find the net in this one. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have now scored in nine of their last 10 matches and an impressive 14 straight at home in all competitions.
